Unlock iPhone 3.1.3 3G 3GS

Posted by admin under Unlock on Wednesday Feb 17, 2010

A working exploit has said to be found by an iPhone hacker named Sherif Hashim. The exploit was sent to iPhone Dev-Team and they have confirmed that it is working but have not given any ETA on when or if they are going to release a tool which is going to unlock iPhone 3.1.3 05.12.01 Baseband for iPhone 3G and 3GS. Maybe they don’t want to waste this all important exploit for this minor update and instead will use it when the major update such as iPhone 3.2 or iPhone 4.0 is released with the next-gen iPhone 4G.

While this game of cat and mouse between Apple and iPhone hackers continue, you can follow our complete jailbreaking guide for iPhone 3.1.3 firmware for iPhone 2G, 3G, 3GS

Jailbreak iPhone 3G 3GS 3.1.3

Posted by admin under Jailbreak on Wednesday Feb 17, 2010

Sn0wbreeze 3.1.3 has been released which can jailbreak iPhone 2G, 3G and iPhone 3GS on the latest iPhone 3.1.3 firmware. One thing which is to be noted here is that it will work with iPhone 3GS only if it has the older bootrom (non-MC model). iPhone 3GS users who have upgraded to the stock 3.1.3 are still out of luck.

Follow the simple step by step guide below to jailbreak your iPhone 2G, 3G and iPhone 3GS (old bootrom only) on iPhone firmware 3.1.3 using Sn0wbreeze. This version of Sn0wbreeze is for iPhones to jailbreak on 3.1.3 firmware.

Step 1: Download and install the latest version of iTunes.

Step 2: Now start iTunes and sync your iPhone with your PC so that it backs-up all your important data including settings, apps, music, contacts and photos.

Step 3: Download Sn0wbreeze and the original iPhone OS 3.1.3 for your version of iPhone (download links given below). Move all these files to your desktop.

Step 4: Start Sn0wbreeze and select “Simple Mode”.

Step 5: Sn0wbreeze will now ask you to browse for your .ipsw file. Select the correct 3.1.3 firmware .ipsw file by clicking the “Browse” button. Sn0wbreeze will verify the selected file and then will present you with following screen.

Step 6: Click on “Yes” when Sn0wbreeze asks you “Do you want to activate your iPhone?” for hacktivation. Click on “No” only if you are on an officially supported carrier like AT&T.

Step 7: Sn0wbreeze will now create the custom .ipsw file for your iPhone which will be jailbroken.

Step 8: Now you will have to restore your iPhone to this custom firmware 3.1.3 that you just cooked using Sn0wbreeze for your iPhone. Click on your phone from the sidebar in iTunes and then press and hold left “Shift” button on the keyboard and then click on “Restore” (Not “Update” or “Check for Update”) button in the iTunes and then release the “Shift” button.

This will make iTunes prompt you to select the location for your custom firmware 3.1.3. Select that custom .ipsw file and click on “Open”.

Step 9: Now sit back and enjoy as iTunes does the rest for you. This will involve a series of automated steps. Be patient at this stage and don’t do anything silly. Just wait while iTunes installs the new firmware 3.1.3 on your iPhone. Your iPhone screen at this point will be showing a progress bar indicating installation progress. After the installation is done, iPhone will restart automatically and you should now have a fully jailbroken iPhone running on firmware 3.1.3.

How to: Unlock iPhone 3G/3GS on 3.1.3:
You can now follow the tutorial/guide posted here or here to unlock your iPhone 3G and 3GS (old bootrom only) on firmware 3.1.3 using ultrasn0w or blacksn0w respectively.

Step 10: Once you are done with the unlocking and jailbreak process. You can now restore all your settings, apps, music, contacts and photos to the newly installed firmware version 3.1.3 by restoring the backup that you made in Step 2 from iTunes.

Feel free to ask me any question here should you run into any problem during the jailbreak process.

UPDATE 1: Sn0wbreeze 3.1.3-V1.5.1 is now available, Download it from here.

Unlock iPhone 2G 3G 3GS firmware 3.1.3

Posted by admin under Unlock on Thursday Mar 11, 2010

In Order To Unlock your Iphone, first you must Downgrade to 3.1.2,below you have the right informations, how to do it:

1 Step : Bypassing the Overlord

To this end, I have constructed a server that duplicates the functionality exposed by Apple’s signature server, except using “on file” results rather than live requests. All we need, then, is to make iTunes use it. Luckily, most operating systems also have the ability to locally define bypasses on specific hostnames through a file called hosts. Using this, we can redirect requests to Apple’s signature server to Cydia. So, open the file C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts (Windows) or /etc/hosts (Mac OS X) and add the following entry to the bottom of the file.

74.208.10.249 gs.apple.com

Now, when iTunes thinks it is talking to Apple, it is talking to Cydia instead. Doing this will allow iTunes to access signatures already stored by Cydia’s “on file” feature. This server will also act as a cache for any SHSH blobs it hasn’t seen, acting as an intermediary to Apple’s server. This effectively registers your device with the “on file” mechanism, which means you can now enjoy the protections of being able to downgrade your firmware in the future even if you aren’t jailbroken.

2 Step : Download Previous O.S File

You must select previous O.S file from <a href=”http://www.unlock-iphone-313.com/category/downloads/”>Here</a>,and download it on your computer.

3 Step : Download <a href=”http://www.unlock-iphone-313.com/category/downloads/”>quickpwn22 </a>and unzip to a folder or desktop.

4 Step : Performing the Restore

Down grade to a downloaded custom 3.1.2 ipsw, open itunes plug your phone in and put your phone in dfu mode not recovery mode, hold sleep and home 10 seconds let go sleep and contiue to hold home 10 seconds till a pop up on itunes tells you you’re in recovery mode and need to restore in order to continue, hold shift and click restore same time navigate to custom 3.1.2 ipsw file and restore when it’s done you will get an error 1015 or 1014, that’s ok that means you’re backed up oncydia and it’s communicating, the you will be in recovery mode where you will see disk and connection cord on screen, just click shift and restore and insert custom ipsw file again hit restore.same error message 1015 will appear, now start quickpwn 22 while your still jacked in on itunes, it will give you a message that says hold sleep and home for 15sec then let go of home and continue to hold sleep for 2 seconds, this will get you out of recovery and your official carrier back.

5 Step : Run our last blackra1n software from our download page or from <a href=”http://www.unlock-iphone-313.com/category/downloads/”>Here </a>
